SUPERMAT!!!

This one may be my favorite so far, and it has nothing to do with the fact that it's the closest one to my house. The machines are good, and if anything there is an over-abundance of wheely-baskets available for the clientele, but they have single, double, and triple-load machines, which you don't actually see every day. This one is in a plaza with so much stuff to do that one can accomplish a plethora of chores and amusements right in the very same plaza, which makes laundry-time just fly right by.

Pros:
  1. Walgreen's AND a Safeway in the same Plaza
  2. Plenty of food options,
    1. Subway
    2. Pollo Loco
    3. Mei-Mei Chinese
  3. A GREAT little thrift store sponsored by Carondolet/ St. Mary's Hospital
  4. A nail shop I have yet to patronize.
Cons:
I honestly can't think of any right now.

This one is definitely the winner so far!

Fair Wash

I've now used this laundromat twice, both times of a Sunday morning, very early. I shudder to think what this place is like when the kids in the huge university across the street wake up, and shall not be patronizing their establishment during more popular hours. Without a crowd there, it is a perfectly acceptable and serviceable laundromat.

Pros:
  1. They make the effort and have (sortof) a Galaga video game in there.
  2. There's an actual bathroom with an actual sink where you can wash your actual hands.
  3. There's a "drive-thru" veranda where you can pull up to get stuff out of the car. When I was there both times the usage was so light we could park in it for the entirety of our stay.
Cons:
  1. The only coffee to be had is literally a 20 minute walk up the street in either direction. Come with your own in hand.
  2. The Galaga game was busted both times I was there.
Bottom line: Yes, I would do my didies there again.
